The chassis and frame are made of welded steel profiles. The complete chassis is hot-dip galvanised. It has eight wheels with solid rubber tires.

The front are castor wheels and the rear wheels are fixed. A front towbar is equipped with an eye to connect the dolly to a towing tractor. When raised or lowered, the towbar activates a parking brake. A spring self-locking hitch is also provided at the rear of the dolly.
